I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God....

We cannot serve two masters and be of good service to others (Mat 6:24-26). Being united to Christ Jesus as one spirit, we must free ourselves from the bondage of sin and serve the LORD (Rom 8:2). Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit....

It is in the coming Messiah that we hope. The Divine gifts which He is yearning to give to us all, cannot be given except there be consent, trust, and desire for them.
