EU Digital Services Act. "Journalism" officially dies on Aug 25, 2023

August 25, 2023 is the date by which the major social media platforms will have to begin fully complying with the "EU Digital Services Act.”

It obliges all major online platforms to quickly remove content from the platforms that the EU deems illegal. Otherwise, they will face fines of up to 6 percent of their global revenue.
