Still it sends a very bad message that the Oscars condones violence: You can now violently assault a presenter live onstage and go on to with a best actor award. We are not going to see an announcement from the Oscars stripping Will Smith of his Oscar anger all they handed 81 Oscars to Harvey Weinstein...
Can you picture someone in the press pool getting up and slapping Biden when he makes one of his famous Faux Pas during interviews. They would have to give the 'journalist' a Pulitzer Prize.
