Maya Echols, a prominent Black Lives Matter activist, threatened that cities will be "on fire" if Derek Chauvin is not convicted for the death of George Floyd.

How does a person get a fair trial when this is the rhetoric?

The juror's must be living in fear too, if they acquit based on evidence they will be targeted, if they convict based on "mob rule" their conscience's will eat away at them...

  I will never understand why they always chose to loot and burn?
  I read a NYT article that said "What is the effect of obsessing over looting? It deflects from the core problem that brought people to the streets." If it deflects from the core of the problem that brought the people to the streets, why are the people creating deflections from their own cause?"
