Trump’s ‘Game of Thrones’ tweet: President declares ‘GAME OVER’

Trump declares 'Game Over' on Mueller investigation with 'Game of Thrones' image. ‘“No collusion. No obstruction. For the haters and the radical left Democrats—Game Over,” text on latest Twitter image reads.

"Thanks to the special counsel's thorough investigation, we now know that the Russian operatives who perpetrated these schemes did not have the cooperation of President Trump or the Trump campaign."

While Mueller determined that President Trump and his campaign did not collude with Russia in the 2016 US election, the special counsel left the question of whether Trump obstructed the investigation up to Barr and Rosenstein - who concluded that Trump did not obstruct. Of note, a four-page summary of Mueller's findings provided by Barr states that the special counsel probe "does not exonerate" the president.

“The special counsel’s report did not find any evidence that members of the Trump campaign, and anyone associated with the campaign, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these hacking operations,” Barr said Thursday during a press conference at the Justice Department. “In other words, there was no evidence of the Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government's hacking.”

“After nearly two years of investigation, thousands of subpoenas, hundreds of warrants and witness interviews, the special counsel confirmed that the Russian government sponsored efforts to illegally interfere with the 2016 presidential election, but did not find that the Trump campaign or other Americans colluded in those efforts,” Barr said, telling reporters Mueller and his team found “no underlying collusion with Russia.”

    • But Mule-er didn't exonerate.  Maybe that's not the job of a prosecutor but why even bother to leave the question open?  And make it possible for Congress to harass and blame Barr or Rosenstein.  Rosenstein's out so what does he care anyway?  Oh, maybe he'll be next in line for prosecution?

      • that's a great question and I'm stumped too...I just don't get it!
