There is some poetic license in that comment above, just like politicians like to use in their politics where nothing is quite truthful. Joe and Jill are only 9 and a bit years apart.
Jill Tracy Jacobs was born on June 3, 1951 and Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was born November 20, 1942. Joe and Jill Biden met in 1975, when he was a U.S. senator and she was a college senior, according to their own accounts, however Joe is not known for his honesty.
