Chuck Schumer is Pressuring Joe Biden to Forgive $50,000 of Student Debt via Executive Order on First day in Office.

“We have come to the conclusion that President Biden can undo this debt, can forgive $50,000 of debt the first day he becomes president,” Schumer said on Monday outside his office in Midtown Manhattan. “You don’t need Congress; All you need is the flick of a pen.”

Joe Biden projected to become President Elect by the media and Democrats is coming under pressure from all sides to take action on the Progressive Wish-list.

The Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats; blasted President Trump’s use of executive orders during his administrations as “egregious abuse of power.”

More than 40 million Americans have a lot riding on the answer of whether or not a president can forgive student debt without Congress.

The president has the powers articulated in Article II of the Constitution, but the congress, the judiciary, and the states also have powers — as articulated in the rest of the constitution (particularly in Article I, Article III, and the 10th Amendment respectively. The President is not a king. His powers are broad, but they are definitely not 'total.

Biden has not yet issued support for such significant student loan forgiveness. Instead, the medias projected president to be, has proposed creating a program that offers $10,000 of undergraduate or graduate student debt relief for every year of national or community service, up to five years.
