Watch the C-5M Super Galaxy Take Off
The shows the US Air Force’s biggest aircraft C-5M Super Galaxy overcoming enormous rain during take off in Glasgow, Scotland. Despite harsh weather conditions the aircraft, whose maximum carrying capacity almost 400 tonnes, soared into the sky without a problem.
The aircraft, which is a modernized version of Lockheed's C-5 Galaxy, is powered by four GE-F138 turbofan engines. It can carry anything from troops and cargo to heavy military equipment, including tanks, helicopters, and even a submarine.
