A
Nashville eyewitness account of the countdown.
Was just sent this as an image
From one of my clients on Broadway...
This is Kim's Story. "We are safe. A bomb exploded in front of our building early this morning. First we heard gunfire, extremely loud, three different times. That got us up. When we looked out of our window, we saw a large RV parked across the street. The RV was broadcasting a message that it contained a bomb and that we had limited time to evacuate. That went on for 20 minutes or so and then the message changed to a countdown. It said we had 15 minutes to evacuate that the bomb was going to be detonated. We grabbed our cat and not much else and made our way to the car and across the river to LP Field. Had we stayed in our apartment, we would have been seriously injured or killed. But, we are safe in a hotel now. Not sure when we will be able to return to our apartment. Thanks to so many of you for reaching out to us this morning. We have the clothes on our backs and we are safe. We feel blessed"
