Mayor Bill de Blasio taking steps to TERMINATE agreements with the Trump Organization

Mayor Bill de Blasio, announced today via Twitter that he is taking steps to TERMINATE agreements with the Trump Organization to operate the Central Park Carousel, Wollman and Lasker skating rinks, and the Ferry Point Golf Course.

"New York City doesn’t do business with insurrectionists. We’re taking steps to TERMINATE agreements with the Trump Organization to operate the Central Park Carousel, Wollman and Lasker skating rinks, and the Ferry Point Golf Course."

The Far-Left are doing everything in their power to Deplatform and Defund (bankrupt) the president, so he can not possibly run again in 2024.  By doing this they are only going to divide the country further and inflame and enrage President Trumps support base.

De Blasio cited criminal activity as legal grounds for ending contracts with the Trump Organization, which manages a golf course in the Bronx, two ice skating rinks and the carousel at Central Park. The organization makes $17 million annually managing those four sites.

"They'll likely challenge us in court, but we're on strong legal ground," the mayor said.

Because the PGA Championship will no longer play on Trump golf courses, it gives the city support to pull the contract, the mayor said.

    • DeBlASSio is such an idiot. Naps in his office until noon, then takes his chauffeured car to the gym. The Wolman Rink in Central Park is the best rink in the City. Efficiently run, meticulously maintained, if the fool in Gracie Mansion gets his way it wlll be a sh*thole in no time.Can't wait to get rid of this POS in November's mayoral election.

        • Lots of Jewish family friends from the upper west side have packed up, sold up and have left New York.

          • I am sure lots of people will stay, but it appears as if lots of the big money is leaving for the time being. My guess will be a change of primary residence to Florida and then visit NYC for the hot summer months.
