How to Cancel Your Disney+, Hulu, Prime and Netflix Subscriptions

Disney+ and Hulu are hiking prices on their ad-free plans. Disney+'s monthly subscription jumps from $11 to $14, and Hulu's jumps from $15 to $18. Disney+ now costs twice as much as it did versus its 2019 launch.

In fact all streaming services have increased their prices substantially while offering old and outdated movies for free and forcing you to pay for the latest releases like you once did at a video rental store.

There is not much point in having a streaming service anymore. The pricing is bad, the movies are old and you get a better quality picture with a 4k TV antenna for under $10 one-off.

Here is how you can cancel all your streaming subscriptions.

AMAZON PRIME

You can't cancel Prime streaming, you will have to cancel your entire Prime Membership. Not that you will miss out on anything special from Amazon as I have not seen a Same Day, Next Day or Two Day delivery in over 2 years. Prime delivery is now a "Some Day" service. You can cancel Amazon Prime by clicking on this link.

NETFLIX

You can find your current subscription status at Netflix by clicking on your personal icon in the top-right corner and choosing Account. This will take you to your account page, which will give you all your information about your current account. On the left side of the page, look for the Cancel Membership button.

DISNEY+

Cancelling Disney+ takes a little longer. Hover over your avatar photo in the top-right corner of the window and then select the "Account" option from the pop-up menu. If you're using a mobile browser on your phone or tablet, after logging in, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the page and tap the "Manage Account" link. Locate the "Subscriptions" heading near the bottom of the page. Select the "Billing Details" link to proceed. Click or tap on the "Cancel Subscription" link in the "Disney+ Subscription" section. Select the large, red "Complete Cancellation" button.

HULU

To go cancel the service completely, just sign in on Hulu's website, and then click the icon next to your name in the top-right corner. In the drop-down menu, select "Manage Profiles." You'll be prompted to re-type your password; do so, and then click "Log In." At the bottom of the page on the left, click "Cancel" next to the "Cancel Your Subscription" option, and then go through the prompts. A questionnaire appears asking you where the company went wrong. Select the answer that best describes the reason you're leaving, and then click "Continue to Cancel" again. As a last-ditch effort to keep you as a subscriber, Hulu will offer you a free month of service. You won't be charged again until that free month is over.

If you want to continue with the cancellation, click "Cancel Subscription."
