Supreme Court strikes down New York gun law — rendering California’s law dead too
Americans have a constitutional right to carry concealed firearms in public, the Supreme Court ruled Thursday.
The 6-3 decision struck down a New York law requiring a license to carry guns outside the home and applies equally to a similar law in California and will allow thousands of guns on city streets.
