Did you know balls move faster than ping pong balls?

On average, a pickleball ball travels around 40 miles per hour while ping pong balls only travel approximately 35 miles per hour. Ping pong balls are slightly smaller which accounts for the difference in speed, however pickleball balls still tend to travel faster due to the material they’re made out of and the design of the racket.
