Did Burger King weaponize milkshakes against, Brexit Party Leader Nigel Farage?

Nigel Farage was 'Milkshaked' As Brexit Party Extends Double-Digit Polling Lead.

On Saturday, two separate events were planned in the UK: Brexit Party Leader Nigel Farage was holding a rally in Edinburgh, Scotland and Tommy Robinson was hosting a campaign event in Oldham, England.

Shortly before both events, the official Burger King UK Twitter account coincidentally(?) posted the following message:

The supposedly witty tweet seems to be an opportunistic response to a story that police in Scotland asked a local branch of McDonald’s not to sell milkshakes during a rally at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange by Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party.

Perhaps, at some stage, someone in corporate HQ will wonder whether it’s really such a good look for Burger King to appear to be taking such an explicit political stance.
