The U.S. Navy and Army launch rocket test nearly a dozen hypersonic weapon experiments

JUST IN - WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. (Reuters) – The U.S. Navy and Army blasted off a rocket from a seaside launch pad in Virginia to test nearly a dozen hypersonic weapon experiments on Wednesday.

The test was intended to validate future aspects of the Navy's Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) and the Army's Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW).
