A $153 Budget (Ed Durr, Truck Driver) Beat NJ State Senate President Steve Sweeney

Truck driver Ed Durr (R) has unseated Democratic New Jersey State Senate President Steve Sweeney (D), a longtime fixture in state politics, using campaign contributions to buy Dunkin Donuts and print-out fliers.

Durr spent $66.64 at Dunkin Donuts to buy food and drinks for his 'staff' and $86.67 for flyers and business cards. From what we can see Durr ran no campaign and has no website.

Steve Sweeney has served in the New Jersey Senate since 2002, where he represents the 3rd Legislative District. He has been the President of the New Jersey Senate since January 12, 2010.

This is a monumental embarrassment for Democrats who lost not just in one state, they lost everywhere!
