Democrats’ ‘Respect for Marriage Act’ Scam

On November 28th the Senate will do a full chamber vote on what the Democrats call Respect for Marriage Act which, as is typical of most democrat bills, is the exact opposite of what this bill will do. It does NOT respect marriage; it attacks everyone that supports traditional marriage (between one man and one woman). What this bill does is to shove the radical leftist same-sex ideology down everybody’s throat by making that perverted ideology federal law.

The passage of this law will any state that has laws that define marriage as between one man and one woman will have to disregard that law and impose the federal law on all it’s citizens no matter what your religious beliefs might be. Any opposition to this law using your religious beliefs will be considered discrimination. Remember all the bakers that wouldn’t bake a cake for a same-sex ceremony? They will no longer be able to claim religious beliefs for refusing to make them a cake. ALL YOUR RELIGIOUS RIGHTS WILL BE REMOVED FOR THE SAKE OF PERVERTED IDEOLOGY.

University of California Berkeley Law School suffers from ‘profound and deep-seated anti-Semitic discrimination’

The University of California, Berkeley, Law School suffers from “profound and deep-seated anti-Semitic discrimination,” according to a copy of a complaint filed against the school with the Education Department and reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.

The complaint—submitted last week by a Florida-based attorney and the International Legal Forum, a global watchdog that fights anti-Semitism—alleges anti-Israel and anti-Semitic bias at the law school after nine student groups in August adopted bylaws that ban Zionist speakers from the campus.

The school’s decision to go along with the ban on pro-Israel speakers constitutes a violation of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which prevents recipients of federal funds from discriminating based on race and national origin, according to the complaint. The petitioners urge the Education Department’s Office of Civil Rights to immediately “open an investigation against the University of California, Berkeley, Law School” and order it to remove this ban on Zionists.

The complaint comes amid a rise in anti-Semitism on America’s college campuses. Assaults on Jewish students and their identity doubled in the 2021 to 2022 academic year especially at schools with large Jewish populations, the Free Beacon reported last week. Last month at George Washington University, for instance, flyers stating “Zionists Fuck Off” were affixed on the campus’s Hillel building, a center for Jewish life. The Hillel building at the University of Southern California in August was also defaced, with vandals smashing the building’s front side.

Nat’l Black Farmers Assn. Pres.: Biden Admin. Hasn’t ‘Done Anything’ on China Buying up U.S. Farms

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends First,” National Black Farmers Association President John Boyd Jr. stated that President Joe Biden and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack haven’t done enough to help American farmers and have failed to act on China buying up American farmland.

Boyd said, “[T]his administration hasn’t put farmers first. Now, they’re out proposing another $37 billion in aid to Ukraine and we haven’t taken care of America’s farmers here at home and the administration, like I said, isn’t doing enough to make sure that farmers get the aid that they need and support that they need from this administration. We have 16,000 members that are still waiting for debt relief and we’re still finding aid for other countries.

Two Runners Go Into Cardiac Arrest During Half Marathon

Two male runners collapsed and needed medical attention at the Monterey Bay Half Marathon on November 13th.

Fellow runner and local cardiologist Steven Lome, D.O., administered life-saving medical care to both runners.

Did either of the runners take the experimental COVID-19 shot or boosters?

Shouldn’t that be a consideration due to the disturbing trend of sudden collapses and deaths since the COVID-19 jab rollout began?

The Monterey Herald reported:

Monterey Bay Half Marathon Medical Director John Ellison said the first incident occurred between Mile 3 and Mile 4 of the race, where a runner collapsed on the pavement. Runners going by stopped to perform CPR until an ambulance arrived with a defibrillator.

Father of The Bill of Rights

Like most Americans, the vast majority of our Founding Fathers were a mystery to me. Sure, we’ve heard of George Washington, John Adams, and Benjamin Franklin, but what about Benjamin Rush, Gouverneur Morris, or the subject of this article, George Mason? Most American treasure the Bill of Rights, but know nothing about the man who made sure we have one.

Citizen Politician

George Mason was a Virginia land owner and early proponent of independence. When the British Parliament imposed improper taxes on the colonies, he pushed to boycott British goods. He spoke eloquently about states’ rights and against slavery, even though he owned many (because it was illegal under British law to free slaves).

Iowa Voters Pass Public Measure 1, Designating the Right to Bear Arms ‘A Fundamental Individual Right’

The amendment passed by a margin of 66 percent to 34 percent.

KCRG reports the full language of the amendment:

Article I of the Constitution of the State of Iowa is amended by adding the following new section: Right to keep and bear arms. Sec. 1A. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. The sovereign state of Iowa affirms and recognizes this right to be a fundamental individual right. Any and all restrictions of this right shall be subject to strict scrutiny.

The Des Moines Register notes that the amendment makes Iowa “the fourth state with ‘strict scrutiny’ language to protect gun rights in its state constitution.”
