Assistant to the US President for National Security #JakeSullivan said that the US gave the go-ahead to #Ukraine to launch strikes on the peninsula. 

"We said that we would not allow Ukraine to use American and Western weapons for strikes against Russia. And we believe that #Crimea is Ukraine."
