A second U.S. Air Force F/A-18 fighter jet has been lost in the Red Sea, reported CNN citing "four people familiar with the matter".
The jet reportedly suffered some sort of arrestment failiure as it was trying to land on the USS Harry S. Turman aircraft carrier. Both pilots successfully ejected and only suffered minor injuries.

Arrestment Failure: I'm not well versed on flight deck terminology but I think this means either the tail hook missed the arresting cables or one of them broke.
