 The report states that the shelling of the station and the surrounding area must be stopped to maintain the integrity of the #nuclear power plant, and that it is necessary to agree on the creation of a "safety zone" around the nuclear power plant to avoid damage.

 Shelling of nuclear power plants can damage critical equipment and release radioactive materials without limit, the report recalls.

 Also, following the results of the trip to the Zaporozhye NPP, the IAEA offered to organize exercises to practice effective response in an emergency, and volunteered to help in organizing them.
