For the needy will not always be forgotten; nor the hope of the oppressed forever dashed....

The day will come, when all will know that God has not forgotten the humble, or the cry of their prayers; He will rescue the believer and break the arm of every wicked oppressor (v16). For surely there is an end; and our expectation will not be cut off (Pro, 23:18).
