No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.... 

Though God has not promised to give riches and prestige, He has promised to give grace and glory to all that seek them. He knows what is best for us and will provide us with the things that will truly benefit our life, even if they don't always align with our immediate desires or understanding.
