The righteous cry, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles....

Our LORD is present every where, He is in our hearts, and dwells there by faith, and we dwell in Him. He hears our prayers and will help us in times of despair. Having committed ourselves to Him, we are humbled in His mercy and grace (Rom 8:9/1 Peter 5:5-6).
