He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy....

The only way to peace is to confess our sins, that they may be forgiven; to declare them that we may be justified. Faith and Love will deliver us from the fear of eternal misery, of sinning against the LORD our God.
