The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him....

Duty is ours, and we must tend to it; but events are God's, we must entrust them to Him. He will help us in our duties, to bear our burdens. He guards our path, but the way of the wicked will perish (Phil 4:19/Ps 1:6). Salvation of the righteous will be the Lord's doing.
