For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself....

While we are warned against selfish ambitions and vain conceit, scripture teaches us to love our neighbor as ourself eight times and to love one another thirteen; these are two of the most repeated commands in the Bible.
