  • 1st thing I did this morning was open the blinds & thanked God for waking me to another amazing day - praying for a little more rain, cuz yesterday's storm was exciting with lightning & thunder...something we rarely get. But if not, so very thankful for what we got yesterday!   🙏

    • We haven't had a Winter here in Minneapolis. 50's for the next week, only a bit over 7" of snow all season. I don't mind it, but this could prove to be a problem for the farmers as the snow helps maintain our water tables.

        I've been back here since 1968 & it's only snowed, albeit very little, 3 times. Wish it'd rain a lot more as, like you say, the farmers need it - we're all ag & oil here. Although rain makes for messy conditions in the oilfields, the crops & animals love it.
