My cable service has always had monthly alerts, usually at 1 or 2 am. The past week they are nearly daily and early. Today was 10 am. If nothing else, it's very odd. When the governor uses alerts to shut is in, its cellphone alerts only. I've only seen the TV alert used once in my life, and it was while a mini tornado was tearing up my neighborhood. It was almost comical, staring out at the crushed car in my driveway, I hear the warning blaring for falling trees and flying debris.
