Russian Ministry of Finance expects to receive 1 trillion rubles of additional oil and gas revenues

🇷🇺⚡Ministry of Finance expects to receive 1 trillion rubles of additional oil and gas revenues

The Ministry of Finance expects to receive up to 1 trillion rubles of additional oil and gas revenues this year.  This was stated by the head of the department Anton Siluanov.

“All this money that comes from oil and gas, if previously partially sent to the reserve, this year is completely spent on expenses. This money will just go to additional payments to pensioners, additional payments to families with children, to conduct a special operation.  Therefore, there are resources for this, including additional oil and gas revenues," Siluanov said.

Western experts say that Russia's oil and gas revenues have risen to a record high despite unprecedented Western sanctions.

According to Janis Kluge, an expert at the German Institute for International Relations and Security, Russia's revenues from the sale of energy carriers have grown by half.

In April, Moscow received 1.8 trillion rubles from the sale of oil and gas.  In March, this figure was 1.2 trillion rubles.

Thus, the Russian budget received half of the planned oil and gas revenues for 2022 in four months.  Sanctions of the West on Russia only play into the hands.  It is impossible to remove the same Russian oil from the market without allowing its price to rise.  And if they continue to grow, then the demand for Russian "black gold" will grow in proportion.
