A federal judge on Monday blocked President Joe Biden’s administration from enforcing a coronavirus vaccine mandate on thousands of health care workers

The preliminary injunction by St. Louis-based U.S. District Judge Matthew Schelp applies to a coalition of suing states that includes:

  1. Alaska, 
  2. Arkansas, 
  3. Iowa, 
  4. Kansas, 
  5. Missouri, 
  6. Nebraska, 
  7. New Hampshire, 
  8. North Dakota, 
  9. South Dakota and 
  10. Wyoming. 

Similar lawsuits also are pending in other states.
