• Police and ambulances responded to reports of a shooting on Fillmore Street in San Francisco late Saturday
• Officers who arrived discovered numerous people suffering from gunshot wounds
• One person has been killed and at least three others were wounded 
• The wounded were rushed to a local hospital, where at least one of them is listed in critical condition 
• Shooting, which reportedly involves multiple victims, took place near Eddy Street
• Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area 

One person was killed and at least three others were reported wounded after police in San Francisco responded to reports of a shooting on Fillmore Street late Saturday.

Amateur video posted to social media shows emergency vehicles at the scene.  

Emergency first responders were called to the scene on Fillmore Street near Eddy Street, according to KGO-TV.

They arrived at the scene at around 8:40pm. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

There are reports that the suspect fled in a black Cadillac and may be armed. 

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area.
