Measles is one of the most contagious diseases according to the CDC, with a mortality rate of 1.45% significantly higher than COVID before Omicron at 1%. Yet we have not seen a press outcry and behavioral science teams deployed to instill fear in the general public. 

Measles is so contagious that if one person has it, up to 90% of the people close to that person who are not immune will also become infected.
